The Building Inspector is a privately owned firm that has been serving the greater Cleveland area since 1987. In 2003 we expanded, adding a second office in the Mid-Ohio Valley (Lower Salem, Ohio), serving the Marietta/Parkersburg areas. Michael T Moir has inspected over 10,000 commercial and residential properties during the past 20 years. Our goal has always been to provide our clients with the most thorough inspection and detailed reports in the industry. DANIEL (DAN) MOIR
Currently Daniel Moir is assisting on General Home Inspections. Dan is Michael's son and is currently enrolled as a student at Fenn Engineering, Cleveland State University, pursuing a degree as a civil engineer and surveyor. His main involvement is in assisting in the inspection process, research, compiling data, and inspection report generation. Dan has had seven (7) years experience in the Home Inspection profession, and has more knowledge in engineering, construction practices and code knowledge than most home inspectors.
Dan is engaged in his Engineering Intership - as of May 2011, he was hired by the City of Westlake, Engineering Department. He is learing valuable information for his future as an engineer, as well as contributing the knowledge he gained through the Home Inspection process.
